School Board Candidate Forums

Minneapolis voters have the chance to hear from the six finalists for the three school board seats at candidate forums and one-on-one voter-candidate conversations to be held in the next three weeks. Note that the October 18th candidate forum will have a magnet school focus.

Today, 10/12: 6-9 p.m., Burroughs School, 1501 W. 50th St.

Wednesday, 10/13: 8-9 p.m., Heart of the Beast Puppet Theater 1500 Lake Street (Spanish translation).

Thursday, 10/14: 7 p.m., Minnehaha United Methodist Church 3701 E. 50th Street.

Monday, 10/18: (Somali and Spanish translation) 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Matthews Park Multipurpose Room, 2404 28th Ave S, 370-4950, (2 blocks south of Franklin Ave).
