An Eternal Flame of Justice

Barton_exhibition_portfolio_0003_3 After studying the Civil Rights Movement and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Amber’s 7th and 8th grade Social Studies class constructed an “eternal flame of justice”.  Each individual composed a metaphor based on a civil rights issue and then collaborated to construct a mural of all the metaphors together. It is displayed in the uppers hallway.  For more photos click here.
