The last Bugle is posted, and Bartonopen.org is taking the next few months off just like the kids. Watch this space in August for new announcements about the Before School Family Picnic and other startup activities. See you in September!
Our “Meet Your Teacher” social is scheduled for Thursday, August 30, from 3-4 PM. On that same day, the Leadership Council will be sponsoring the third annual All-School Family Picnic at Beard’s Plaisance from 5 PM to 7:30 PM. Areas in the picnic site will be set up to help families meet other parents and students from the same classroom. Watch for additional details in the August newsletter that is mailed to your home.
The Leadership Council hopes you have enjoyed this website and the weekly Bugle reminders this year! So many wonderful things happen everyday in this school! We try, but we feel they can't be adequately covered by just two volunteers. We'd really like to expand the web team and make this site better next year and we're looking for volunteers to help. No experience of any kind is necessary. The time commitment can be flexible too. We're just looking to get more varied input so that this site can better represent what Barton is about. If you have ideas or any interest in helping out next year, please send an email to our website by clicking on the Contact link in the ABOUT BARTON section at the left and let us know. We will schedule a meeting or two later this summer to get organized for next year.
