Wolf Ridge Environmental Trip

  Here are just some of the life experiences and great memories the middles students can claim after their three day trip to Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center in Finland, Minnesota:

• chickadee perched on your head and eating from your hand
• jumping off a 25 foot high platform and zip-lining down to the ground
• catching your teachers laughing uncontrollably
• losing your boot in deep snow, and digging for 30 minutes to find it
• learning to use a compass and find a place based on orienteering instructions
• noticing a white-tailed deer track between your snow shoes
• getting stuck on the tight rope and having your friends give you the courage to walk to the end
• learning how to cross country ski
