Master folder Gregory Chastain and Mediocre sushi chef Mary Scavotto present a sensory-filled afternoon of rolling sushi and folding origami. $25 per child, all ages (K-8) invited.

K/1/2 families - this FUNdraiser is just for us! We believe that if we all work together, we can raise at least $1000 to support the Barton Foundation. We would love to see every K/1/2 family contribute to our goal and come to the dance. $5 buys your WHOLE family a night of snacks and dancing. If you are able to give more than $5, please include your additional donation amount when you purchase your ticket. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.
Tunes will be spinning from 6:00 to 8:00. Let's rally together to show Barton that their youngest students may seem tiny, but they are mighty big when it comes to school spirit, dancing and fundraising!

Experience an hour of guided meditation and salt therapy (halotherapy) at one of the most unique places in Minneapolis, The Salt Cave. Then, convene up the road at neighborhood gem Five Watt, to get a speciality coffee and have some awesome conversation. After an hour of improving our serotonin levels and promoting clarity and creativity, we'll have plenty to talk about.

Group Norae Karaoke Shanty Night

The Norae Shanty is based on Korean karaoke rooms called “Norae bangs” (song rooms) and is a scaled-down version of a karaoke bar. It was created in 2005 for the Art Shanty Projects and has provided thousands of people a space to sing together. The shanty is equiped with a PA, mics, and over 14,000 songs. Light snacks and non-alcoholic drinks provided. Bring Your Own Beer/Wine.

I'm an avid home fermenter brewing kombucha, fermenting various vegetables, and making sourdough bread for a few years now. At this session, I'll walk you through the facts and process of fermentation, demonstrate how to make each one, and finish with general question and answer session. Every attendee will go home equipped with the skills, recipes, and the scoby / starter to begin brewing, fermenting, and baking right away.

We will feast on challah bread, Shakshouka, apples dipped in honey, latkes, hummus, veggies and more scratch made goodness. The bonfire will be going in the backyard, which also has play equipment and ample space for the kids to run around freely. If anyone has allergies, food preferences or practices that need following, please let us know.
